Throwing away a Topaz for a 1k gem might be followed by looting 5 more Topaz, and you not having space. You might get 4x250g gems, or 1x1000g gem. Gems (Rarity/Variable) - starting from highest to lowest, keeping in mind that lower gems are usually easier to stack, so it's a balancing act. Torches are important, but it's easy to stretch them out and gauge when you can safely discard them. The Blood (if infected) followed by Shovels, Food, and zone-specific provisions. trinkets of above-common rarity can be worth more than most gems, and so on. Gold will always be near the top when you can stack it to 4k or 4.5k per pile. This also doesn't account for Antiquarian stacking. I don't think about it too much because gold is infinite and easily accessible. At best, having a set formula will simply save you time (which could be spent completing the dungeon and moving on to another mission for more gold). There's enough variables for it to not be the same formula every time. IE: Is a Sapphire better to have than gold in an antiquarian group? Or is gold better because you likely won't get enough sapphires to make up the cost? Which of these items would you prioritize having in your inventory, and which would you ditch first to make room? Food, Shovel, Antivenom, Bandage, Medicinal Herbs, Skeleton Key, Holy Water, Laudanum,.Trinkets by rarity (Very Common, Common, Uncommon, Rare, etc.).Minor Antique, Rare Antique, Jute Tapestry,.Citrine, Jade, Onyx, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby.As far as picking up loot goes, what do you prioritize having? And as far as throwing away loot goes, what do you ditch? More specifically, As I get tons of stuff though, I find myself chucking out common trinkets, gemstones, supply items, and journal snippets as I go. So I'm getting into making some serious money with an antiquarian group.
